Who We Are
Rock & Roll Kids Choir is a community singing ensemble for children ages 4-9 focused on learning and performing rock and pop classics, including David Bowie, Talking Heads, The White Stripes, The Velvet Underground, Cat Stevens, and Prince!
We offer choirs in two different locations: Sundays in Golden Valley at Calvary Church (7520 Golden Valley Rd) and Mondays in South Minneapolis at the Center For Performing Arts (3754 Pleasant Ave S). Each location will offer both a kindergarten choir (ages 4-6) and an elementary choir (ages 6-9).
All choirs will combine at the end of our 10 week session for a joint concert on Saturday, May 10, 2025 (location TBD).

About Our Director
Founder and director Beth Gusenius is an early childhood music educator who has been involved with the Twin Cities music scene for over two decades. After graduating with a B.A. in music from Gustavus Adolphus College, she studied musicology at the University Of Minnesota, worked in music education administration, and performed with a variety of local ensembles. A semi-professional singer, she is equally at home onstage at the Ordway with Minnesota Opera, or rocking the karaoke mic at the Vegas Lounge in NE Mpls!
